For scouts this week we worked on the Marbles belt loop. As the boys arrived they played with Marble Run. We then learned the rules to 2 marble games: nine hole and breakthrough. To earn the belt loop the boys have to tell an adult the rules, practice playing and then play a game of marbles.
Sis Boblett had a St. Patty's day craft. The boys decorated a baby food jar to look like a pot of gold and filled it with skittles.
At our next Pack meeting we will use our marble skills for the gathering activity. We'll have some areas set up for the boys to teach how to play the games to the other scouts and their families.
Just a reminder to work on your Faith in God booklet and to remember to sign off anything you do at home with your boy in their scout handbooks.
