Tonight we worked on Elective 13 - Birds. We read a story about birds (elective 13c) and then Sister Black showed pictures of 10 birds seen in our area and shared a bird watching book with us. Then we went to the gym with our binoculars and looked for the 10 birds that were posted around the gym. After our "birdwatching" we went back to our classroom and made pine cone bird feeders. We then worked on Achievement 10 - Family Fun. We completed 10a the Character Connection on Cooperation and the boys were given a cupcake tin and washers and were allowed to make up their own rules for their game.
The boys were given a Bird Watching Sheet to track birds that they see over the next week. Other assignments are to complete Elective 13 and Achievement 10 over the next couple of weeks.
Reminder that we are meeting at my home next Tuesday from 4-5 pm. Then we will take a break until or Pack Meeting on January 5.
